Lemhi CWMA UAV Workshop 2021

This past July, the Lemhi CWMA put on a Unmanned Aerial Vehicle workshop hosted by Tom and Seth McFarland in Carmen Creek. We had speakers cover Idaho and national laws and regulations, herbicide labels for aerial application, existing county UAV weed spraying programs, and American-made UAV weed spraying systems. The highlight of the day was a UAV spraying demonstration by Bill Reynolds of Leading Edge Aerial Technologies. CWMA partners hope to add UAV work for weed inventory and treatment to our toolbox in the near future. This technology has the potential to help us reach difficult locations and get work done more efficiently
